Buildfiles

Note the following changes in the buildfiles that you use with mkifs to create OS images:

• If you link to the libc library in your buildfiles for 32-bit targets as follows:

  [type=link] /usr/lib/ldqnx.so.2=/lib/libc.so.4

  Change it to this for your 64-bit targets:

  [type=link] /usr/lib/ldqnx-64.so.2=/lib/libc.so.4

• If you use the following line in your mkifs buildfile and you're moving to a x86_64-based target:

  [virtual=x86,elf]

  Change it to use multiboot:

  [virtual=x86_64,multiboot]

• For 32-bit x86, you can change [virtual=x86,elf] to [virtual=x86,multiboot], but it isn't required.
