New control events
A new control event has been added that allows you monitor audio management and determine the active audio streams that are running on the system. As part of this update, new APIs are available that include: In addition, support for the SND_CTL_READ_AUDIOMGMT_CHG control event has been added and a new audiomgmt callback. You can find more information about both in the snd_ctl_callbacks_t type.
Use of the predictive limiter
The use of the limiter has been improved to avoid distortion. For more information, see PCM software mixer
