Emulate an IBM PC keyboard controller

Synopsis:

vdev pckeyboard loc baddr

Option:

loc: The base address of the device registers (default space is io:).

For a list of options available to all vdevs, see “Common vdev options” at the beginning of this chapter.

Description:

x86 only. The pckeyboard vdev provides minimal emulation of an IBM PC keyboard controller.

This emulation is provided because for historical reasons, x86 systems expect the device to be present. The vdev provides the minimum emulation needed for a QNX Neutrino OS guest to reboot in a hypervisor VM.
