Downloading a reference image

You can download a platform-specific QWF reference image and transfer it to your target platform.

To download a QWF reference image:

1. On the QNX website (www.qnx.com), navigate to the Downloads section.
2. Download the .zip file with the appropriate reference image to your host system.
3. Extract the reference to a convenient location.

These reference images use this naming pattern: platform-media.img. For example, imx61sabresmart-sd.img.

Reference images also contain one or more tar files. These are included as a convenience, so you can view the contents of the reference image on a host system that doesn't read Power-Safe (fs-qnx6.so) filesystems.
