acl_delete_entry()

Delete an entry from an access control list (ACL)

Synopsis:

int acl_delete_entry( acl_t acl,
                      acl_entry_t entry_d );

Arguments:

acl
A pointer to the ACL that you want to delete an entry from.
entry_d
The descriptor of the entry that you want to delete.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The acl_delete_entry() function deletes an entry from an access control list.

Returns:

0, or -1 if an error occurred (errno is set).

Errors:

EINVAL
The acl argument doesn't point to a valid ACL, or entry_d isn't a valid descriptor for an entry in acl.
