About This Guide

Getting Started with QNX Neutrino: A Guide for Realtime Programmers is intended to introduce you to the QNX Neutrino RTOS and help you develop applications and resource managers for it.

Note: EDITOR'S NOTE: Rob Krten wrote this book, then called Getting Started with QNX Neutrino 2, in 1999. In 2005, QNX Software Systems bought the rights to the book; this edition has been updated by the staff there.
