If, for any reason, your disk is completely unrecoverable, you might be able to use spatch (see above) to patch your files and directories. In some cases, you may need to reinstall QNX Neutrino and restore your disk from your backup files.
If significant portions of the filesystem are irreparably damaged, or important files are lost, then restoring from backup might be your best alternative.
