Filters

When grouping doesn't help reduce the amount of profiling data from the results, you can use filters to remove some rows from the table. Component filtering lets you see only those records related to specific components. Data filtering lets you filter records based on timing values and on how many records are shown.

To filter results:

  1. In the Execution Time view, click the Menu icon from the toolbar and select Filters. The IDE displays the Filters dialog:
    Filtering dialog
  2. Fill in the dialog fields as needed. For component filtering, click the checkboxes of the program components (in the table area) for which you want to keep data. For data filtering, specify the appropriate threshold values in the text fields.
  3. Click OK to close the dialog. The IDE then applies the filters and refreshes the view.
