Prerequisites

Before you begin to install, configure, and use the Abatron BDI2000 Debugger, you'll need to verify that you have the following required hardware and software:

• Hardware requirements:
  
  • Abatron BDI2000 JTAG device
  • an appropriate JTAG debug cable for your target architecture
  • an Ethernet cable — a debug cable that connects the Abatron Debug Module to the debug interface on your target and it's suitable for your specific target architecture
  • a switch to your local network

• Software requirements:
  
  • Abatron BDI2000 Firmware appropriate for your target architecture
  • QNX Momentics IDE version 4.5 or higher
