who

List the logged-in users

Syntax:

who [file]

who am I

Runs on:

Neutrino

Options:

file

The file that contains information about the logged-in users. If you don't specify a file, the utility looks at /var/log/utmp.

Description:

The who utility displays information about the logged-in users:

• If you specify no arguments or a file, who displays a list of all logged-in users.
• If you specify who am I (or who am i), the utility displays the terminals you're logged into.
