posix_spawnattr_getnode()

Gets the remote node used to perform the spawn.

Synopsis:

#include <posix_spawnattr.h>

int posix_spawnattr_getnode(const posix_spawnattr_t *_Restrict attrp, uint32_t *_Restrict node_p);

Arguments:

attrp

A spawn file attribute object.

node_p

The node descriptor of the remote node on which to spawn the child process. This member is used only if you set SPAWN_SETND in the flags member.

If you want to spawn() remotely, set the nd member to the node descriptor. See the netmgr_strtond() function.

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

Retrieves or specifies the remote node on which the spawn will be done. Use the netmgr_strtond() function to obtain a valid node identifier for a named remote node. This setting only takes effect if the POSIX_SPAWN_SETND flag is set. The default value will be the node from which the posix_spawn() call is executed.

Returns:

The process ID of the child process, or -1 if an error occurs (errno is set).

Errors:

EINVAL

If there are any parameter errors.

EOK

Success.
