Driver for PPC800 RPX Lite Ethernet adapters and compatibles

Syntax:

io-net -d ppc800-rpxlite [option[,option ...]] ...

Options:


Note: Use commas (,) to separate the options (not spaces).

channel=number
The SCC channel. This must be set to 2 for this driver.
mac=XXXXXXXXXXXX
MAC address of the controller.
mtu=X
Maximum transmission unit. The default is automatically detected on supported hardware.
nomulticast
Disables the driver from sending or receiving multicast packets. By default, multicast is enabled.
promiscuous
Enable promiscuous mode. The default is off.
receive=num
Set the number of receive descriptors. The default is 30.
transmit=num
Set the number of transmit descriptors. The default is 15.
verbose
verbose=num
Be verbose. Specify num for more verbosity (num can be 1-4, the higher the number, the more detailed the output). The output goes to slogger, invoke sloginfo to view.

Description:

The devn-ppc800-rpxlite.so driver controls PPC800 RPX Lite compatible Ethernet adapters.

Examples:

Start io-net using the PPC800 RPX Lite driver and the full TCP/IP stack:

io-net -d ppc800-rpxlite mac=000102C18C40,channel=2 -p tcpip
