Description:
The devn-lance.so driver controls AMD LANCE (AMD-79c96x) compatible Ethernet adapters.
![]() |
This driver cannot always detect the correct irq and ioport options, especially for ISA devices. To be sure, always specify irq and ioport when using this driver. |
Examples:
Start io-net using the AMD LANCE driver and the full TCP/IP stack:
io-net -d lance ioport=0x320,irq=11 -p tcpip ifconfig en0 10.184
Files:
- /dev/io-net
- The directory where, by default, drivers and protocol modules add entries. For more information, the documentation for io-net.
