UNALIGNED_RET16()

Access a misaligned 16-bit value safely

Synopsis:

#include <gulliver.h>

uint16_t UNALIGNED_RET16( const uint16_t *loc );

Arguments:

loc
The address where you want to get the value from.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The UNALIGNED_RET16() macro lets you access the misaligned 16-bit value pointed to by loc without faulting.

Returns:

The 16-bit value pointed to by loc.

Caveats:

UNALIGNED_RET16() is implemented as a macro.
