Regional Sales Manager (China)
Location: Shanghai, China
Our Asia Sales Team located in China is seeking a dynamic seasoned Field Application Engineer to provide pre-sales technical information and support to customers in deploying embedded products using the full suite of QNX Software Systems products and services.
Job Duties

Primary Functions
|
 |
Research, initiate, follow up, close and otherwise manage sales in China.
|
 |
Working with our Strategic Alliances and Marketing team to assess possible alliance member opportunities where "lead mining" is possible.
|
 |
Increase our market penetration in the targeted market segments, including the Networking Infrastructure Market (datacom and telecom equipment manufacturers) as well as our historical markets (Medical Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, etc.).
|
 |
Work with regional sales team, comprised of an assigned Field Application Engineer and an Inside Sales Rep, to analyze customer requirements, deliver product and services against customer need, and manage the sale through to revenue recognition.
|
 |

Experience & Education

Education and Experience
|
 |
7 + years of sales experience in sales or account management.
|
 |
5 + Experience in technology product and service sales, internationally, in an embedded real-time market.
|
 |
Strong record of Tier One OEM sales, new market penetration, and C level engagements. Experience in delivering sales solutions to any of the focus markets, or specific sales experience with a competing firm (WindRiver Systems, OSE Systems, MontaVista, etc.) are deemed as assets in this role.
